How it works

  1. Search or add. Find the part, or type your own part number with a short description and a photo.
  2. Send one RFQ. One part or fifty. Your list stays on this device until you send it.
  3. Get a quote per line. Price, condition and lead time, under one RFQ number.

Questions

How do I ask for a quote?

Search for the part, press Add to RFQ, and repeat for everything you need. Then open your RFQ list, fill in your contact details and send it. One request can hold one part or many.

What if my part is not in the list?

Type the part number, add a short description and a photo if you have one, and add it to your RFQ. Every request is read by a person, so a nameplate photo or a sample is enough to start.

Do I need the OEM part number?

No. A part number is the fastest route, but a description with the unit model, engine model and a photo of the part or its nameplate also works.

Which locomotives do you cover?

EMD and GMD units with 567, 645 and 710 engines, GE units with 7FDL engines, MLW and Alco units, GE 25 to 80-ton switchers, Whitcomb, Plymouth and Brookville industrial units, Trackmobile and Shuttlewagon railcar movers, and steam.

What comes back?

Price, condition and lead time for each line: new, remanufactured, unit exchange or used serviceable, depending on what can be found.

What is the RFQ number?

Each request gets a number built from the date and time it arrived, down to the millisecond, for example RFQ-20261002-174512-384. Quote it in any follow-up.

Is my list saved if I leave the site?

Yes. Your RFQ list and contact details stay on your device until you send or clear them.
